Studio Guidelines
Everything you need to know before you walk in
At Flourish & Flow Mendo, we want every person who walks through our doors to feel comfortable being here. These guidelines help us care for our studio, our instructors, and each other so everyone can enjoy their experience.
-
Reserving your spot through your Arketa account is not required, but we encourage members to do so before class. This helps instructors prepare and allows us to provide the best experience as our community continues to grow.
If you are unable to attend a class you reserved, please cancel as soon as possible. This gives another member the opportunity to join.
Flourish & Flow Mendo reserves the right to update our cancellation policy, including the addition of late cancellation or no-show fees, if needed in the future.
-
Guests and family members are welcome through approved guest passes and family pass options available through Flourish & Flow Mendo.
All guests must be registered before attending class and must follow the same studio guidelines as members.
Family passes allow family members to participate in eligible classes and programs.
-
Please arrive a few minutes before class begins so you have time to check in, get settled, and prepare for your practice.
The studio doors are locked once class begins. Some instructors may allow late entry at their discretion, while others may not be able to accommodate late arrivals.
-
Classes at Flourish & Flow Mendo are a time to step away from daily distractions and focus on yourself.
Please leave phones and other devices in the cubbies and keep them silenced during class. Smart watches should also be placed on silent or do not disturb.
Please keep conversations respectful inside the studio and be mindful of the instructor and other members.
-
Our regular adult classes are designed for participants to have dedicated time for their own movement and practice.
To help maintain the class experience for everyone, children and infants are not permitted in regular adult classes.
We love supporting families and will continue to offer designated opportunities for children and parents to participate together when available.
-
Please check your shoes before entering the studio and remove any dirt, rocks, or debris.
Please wipe down equipment after use, return props where they belong, and leave your space ready for the next person.
-
Water bottles are welcome in the studio. Please bring a bottle with a secure, leak-proof lid to help protect the studio floor and equipment.
Food and drinks other than water may be enjoyed in the lobby area. Please clean up after yourself and leave the lobby as you found it.
-
Please listen to your body and choose movements that feel appropriate for you.
If you have an injury, limitation, or concern, please let your instructor know before class begins. Our instructors are happy to offer guidance and modifications when possible.
Please stay home if you are feeling sick or experiencing symptoms that may affect others.
Giving your body time to rest helps protect the health of our community.
-
If you have a question, concern, or something you'd like us to know, please reach out to us directly. We want you to feel comfortable communicating with us and appreciate your feedback.
Thank you for being part of the Flourish & Flow Mendo community and helping us create a space where people can step away from the outside world and take time to care for themselves.
