Anne Hammond spent 30 years as an elementary school teacher and has been married to her husband, David, for more than 30 years. She loves traveling the world, experiencing different cultures, and spending time with her beloved dogs.
After retiring, Anne decided to focus on both her physical and mental well-being. She discovered a love for Jazzercise and Zumba and realized there was a need for low-impact dance fitness classes for seniors who love to dance, people new to dance fitness, and anyone beginning their exercise journey.
With encouragement from her friends, and especially her dance fitness mentor, Amy Bozzo, Anne became certified to teach Zumba and Zumba Gold. She now teaches Zumba Gold at Flourish & Flow Mendo alongside her friend Mari.
Anne and Mari love sharing the joy of movement through a variety of music and dance styles. Their classes welcome people of all ages, abilities, and experience levels, creating a supportive environment where everyone can enjoy moving at their own pace.
When you join a Zumba Gold class, expect to have fun, work up a sweat, and leave with a smile. You might even make a few new friends along the way.
